I just wanted to take a moment to let everyone know I’m still alive! I have been busy with school, and well life in general so this story has taken a back seat to other things going on. I did manage to get enough screenshots for a Christmas special which I will be posting soon. We are going out of town in the morning so I hope everyone enjoys and has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Also look for the Groves in the new year! I will do my best to get back on track 😉

I hope everyone had a good memorial day 🙂 I was actually hoping to have chapter 7 our for the memorial day holiday but things didn’t really work out that way! I did want to share though a little bonus photo I came across while playing Raina a few days ago. Yup! There went Kesha, still alive and looking as beautiful as ever even after 6 generations! Hmm, I wonder what her secret is 😉

Hope everyone likes the new border! I had to change it because the old one was all messed up and I couldn’t add Finley to it. I also want to apologize for my lack of writing. It’s been a busy few months and it’s about to get busier! I am back to school this summer and while I’m only taking one summer class, fall will be full-time. I am still trying to play and write as much as possible, but I know it’s not as much as you all would probably like! Again sorry! And thanks to all my faithful readers 🙂

So I haven’t exactly been updating the way I had hoped, things have just been super hectic with us all trying to adjust to my husband being home! I hope you all are going to enjoy Finley’s generation because although it may take me some time I hope to write it loosely based on my experience with my husband joining the army and being gone. I miss being able to write as much as I used to, and maybe once we have all gotten back into the swing of things I can get back at it! Thanks for being such great readers 🙂

I want to apologize for being MIA so long! My husband is now home safe and sound and we’ve all been having a great time. I have finally got another chapter out today and even though it’s a little late the Groves have now been around for a year!!! 🙂 I want to thank all of you who read and like my posts because you guys are the reason I keep up with this! That and it’s a lot of fun too 😉 Hope you all had a great new year and can’t wait to see what 2012 brings for the Groves!

So, Thanksgiving is almost here! One of my favorite holidays 🙂 I will be out of town for a bit but when I come back I have a lot of catching up to do. I’m going to try to write ahead as much as I can in December because January I will more than likely not play or write (although I can publish pre-written chapters) because my husband will be HOME! Not sure when exactly and even if I knew I couldn’t tell you 😉 But whenever he does get here I will be taking some time off to be with him and we will also be travelling the last half of January. I hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving!

I finally finished my Halloween project! I ended up needing to buy a new computer, but luckily the other one still worked enough I was able to transfer everything without a problem! I should be back in business with the Groves and even have a couple other little things I’m working on. Not sure right now if I will share them or not, but one is a Rainbowacy of sorts, and the other is a CAW project. With the new computer CAW actually works so I am playing around with a world idea I had 🙂 Hope everyone had a happy halloween! I already have a few chapters almost ready to be published for the Groves so while I am mainly going to be focusing on writing and completely this new story this month the Groves will not be neglected!! This time last year I was simply a reader enjoying other simmers stories, and now here I am on my fifth (going on sixth ;)) generation of a family who’s not only special to me but many of you lovely people! In just 3 more months we will not only be celebrating my story’s 1 year anniversary but my husband should also be coming home FOR GOOD! Or at least until the next deployment which hopefully will not be any time soon! Also I wanted to annouce another story I am working on, sort of a Halloween project although I’m not sure it will be done by Halloween! Here’s the link if you’d like to check it out! If anyone hasn’t noticed I have worked around the broken launcher problem and have been able to play and put out more chapters! Yay right? Well now it seems some of my photos aren’t working properly! Not sure if this is an issue with photobucket or not, may be time for a new account or else I’ll have to pay for extra bandwidth or something. Rest assured I will figure it out and fix the broken pics as soon as possible! Sorry guys and thanks for being patient with me 🙂

Well I’ve run into an unexpected problem, my launcher. Sometimes it will work, sometimes it won’t, but it’s making it near impossible to get any play time at all which would be why I’m not getting any new chapters out. I’m sorry and I hope I can get it resolved soon but I have tried everything except un-installing and re-installing which is my LAST resort because even though I can back everything up it’s just gonna take a lot of time which I don’t have right now. Thanks for your patience!

Well I finally got a chapter out! I figured I would update here as well and let you guys know I’m going to try to get back on the writing bandwagon. It’s been a tough couple of weeks for me after having to say goodbye to my husband again. My son will be starting school again soon which will definitely give me more time! I just wanted to take a moment and wish everyone out there a happy memorial day! This year, like most I will spend the day thinking of the military men and women who have sacrificed so much for our freedom. Although at the same time this year will be different from most too since I am  in the position I am in right now with my husband deployed. Many of you already knew that but just in case 😉 I am so proud of him for what he’s doing. He is a real life hero and I wish he could be here so we could celebrate today together. But for now I have to be happy with just the 20 minute phone call I got this morning! I got another chapter up for everyone, so I hope that’s a good enough present!!! Also just a reminder, I will be taking a break mid June until the beginning of July. In that time frame my husband will be home on his leave and I want to spend every moment I can with him! I will be back after that and also hope to possibly get a bit of writing acomplished in the next couple weeks here following the release of Generations, which I will be getting tomorrow! yay! Again happy memorial day all 🙂

Wow, so I really didn’t notice how behind I was on this generation! I finally have Denise up for download, but I just realized as far as her profile goes I haven’t added Marc as her spouse or anything like that! I got to play a little tonight but I have been pretty limited on time. I have a lot going on this week but am hoping this weekend, since it’s a long one, I might get some good playing time in and catch up on everything! So I have been rolling ideas around in my head and have come up with a couple ideas for short stories. The only thing is I’m not sure which I should go with. If, and when I do write it! My first option was a real life story, basically a story about me and my life (though focused more on the present than the past). Or I was thinking of writing a Berry Sweet story, since I love reading them 🙂 I figured you guys could help me decide sooooo vote in the poll below! Thank you guys for reading! Just a little update about the stuff going on in my world 🙂 My daughter is better, thank you guys so much for thinking of us! She had a BAD urinary tract infection but lucky for us we caught it in time. I was hospitalized last year for one that had progressed into my kidneys, not fun at ALL. I also wasn’t going to, but for half price I bought Medieval! I bought it for me and my son to play and well I’ve ended up playing it more alone than with him. We did make our Monarch Rapunzel 😉 hehe The kids are HOOKED to that movie at the moment! 4 more weeks until Generations is released and I can NOT wait! The Groves aren’t being neglects, don’t worry about that! I will have the next update up either tomorrow or Wednesday! Thanks for reading everyone! Almost 10,000 hits!!!!

So April is almost over, but before it is I wanted to let everyone know that this is offically Autism Awareness Month! For those of you who don’t know my son has autism and you can read more about him in the link on the sidebar! People with autism are typically misunderstood as being problem children/teens/adults when they just see the world and respond differently that the rest of us. Some have more severe health issues added on top of it but lucky for me my son does not. What people with autism need most from us is tolerance! And of course loves of love and patience! I uploaded Candice, my autistic sim, for you all to enjoy and to help spread the word about autism throughout the simming community! So I didn’t think this had any place in the story but I wanted to share with you guys. Another memeber of the Groves has passed on 😥 The beloved little froggy which Bayleigh caught on their trip to France. Wow thinking back has it really been that long? I can’t believe we’re now seeing the 5th generation being born! Very exciting and a little sad at the same time! If I was only going to 10 generations we would almost be done! Good think we have a lot more to go 😉 Depending too on how things are I may start over with again once I get through the names A-Z. Just have to see how long it takes and what life has in store for me by that time! I’m also very excited for the new Expansion coming out May 31st! I’ll have two weeks to play it until my husband comes home and then I will of course be taking another little break!

Well I’m back from vacation! I’m glad to be back home and reunited with my sims! Amazing how much I miss playing when I can’t! lol Anyway I had a good trip and a good birthday so thank you for all the kind words/thoughts you all sent me before I left 🙂 I also want to send a special shout-out to OneandOnlyYazzie!!! This girl has been one of my best readers! She makes me feel so special not only because she’s constantly commenting on my chapters but she has gifted me several items from my wish list! So I just wanted to say thank you! All of you guys are the best! I may not have the best story/legacy there is but you all make me feel as if I’m doing a pretty good job! Hope you enjoy my update, although it’s a rather sad one.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to remind everyone again I’m going to be out of town tomorrow the 1st through the 7th! My birthday is the 2nd so I’m seeing family that day but then I’m throwing a baby shower for a friend on the 3rd. Busy, busy! I’m going to miss my game and writing! But I will be back in action that weekend hopefully! Happy St. Patricks Day! I just wanted to update to let everyone know I’m back on track (for the most part!) and hopefully we are getting close to our 4th Generation heir vote! I would like to inclue the new baby too, but I want him to be a teen at least for the vote, so we’ll see! It may end up just being between the girls! Also I’m hosting a baby shower for a friend out of town at the beginning of April and will be gone for about a week. Hopefully we can get our next heir before then 😉

Well I have good and bad news. Good news I got out the first chapter of Gen 3! I think I have enough pictures for chapter 2, just need to organize them later. Bad news I don’t know if I’ll be able to get my game functioning well enough to get anymore for a while! I don’t know why it’s being wonky but I’m having to save every 5 minutes and still I end up re-doing the same things so many times I’m kind of over it. Hopefully this won’t stop my legacy completely but it will be on hold for at least this next week. My daughter will be turning two and I have plans for that as well. I’ll be around though, and if I have the time I will get out chapters as fast as I can!

Ok, so I went ahead and closed the poll for the heir vote! I know I said I wanted at least 50 votes but it was taking a while plus it seemed that the girls were always neck and neck! So, I closed it and Cassie was 3 voted ahead of Candice! So she’s officially the winner! I’m thinking, however, of keeping Candice around since everyone seems to like her so much! I guess we’ll just have to wait and see 😉

So I got Bayleigh uploaded to the exhange so she’s now available for those of you who want her! I will try to get Chris uploaded the next time I play. I sort of took a break today and built an awesome new house! I was going to upload it, but it won’t for some reason. I got a new video card for my computer! It works so well! I did though run into ‘save error 12’ after installing it! I freaked! I thought I’d lose all my gameplay, but I found a fix for it so the Groves are safe and sound! If anyone is interested in any other content besides characters (patterns, CC objects, lots, etc) please leave me a comment! And for anyone else wondering Aaron’s shirt is from Fast Lane Stuff 🙂

It’s finally February! Yay! Also I finally got the downloads page up and running! So if you want any of the characters be sure to check that out! Also, chapter 4 was just released today and as long as things go as planned 5 will be up tomorrow! I’m a bit sore since I fell while holding my baby girl yesturday 😦 She’s ok, but me, not so much. Ok so I still haven’t gotten my downloads page ready. With the new baby I was quite busy 🙂 I just wanted to post today to let everyone know *in case* I don’t post a new chapter for a week or so it’s because I’m currently working on some lots for the town! I want to add more community lots as well as homes(so more people will move and my heir will have a bigger choice for partners 😉 I am playing in “Longview” which is a wonderful town made by Rflong7 and can be downloaded here!

Ok so have been goofing off a little! Still no downloads yet, but I will get them up eventually! I was playing with CC today to make my own custom pictures and they look *awesome*.  So I played a couple more hours tonight and I know I have enough for one chapter maybe even two which I will write tomorrow!! I want to thank ALL of you for getting me over 400 hits already! Quite the acomplishment for me seeing as this is my first story with the sims 3! 🙂
