So here it is! The Apple St. Chapel! And you know what that means?! Today is my wedding day! The day I will become Mrs. Aaron Groves! I can’t wait!
As I was getting ready I could feel the butterflies in my stomach doing flip flops! Oh I hope I don’t lose my lunch out there! How horrible would that be?? Don’t think that way Annette! You’ll be fine! Only 2:30pm.. still an hour and a half to go.. this wait was going to be torture!I just stared at myself for what seemed like forever. Going over my vows in my head over and over again. This was it! The happiest day of my life! The only thing that could have made this day better was if my father was here to walk me down the aisle. *sniff* No time to think about those things now. As I peered around the corner I could see him waiting for me. My gosh he is so handsome. I’m the luckiest girl in the world! To have a man like that want to spend his life with me! Here goes nothing.. I was holding my breath as I began to walk down the aisle. Aaron smiled at me. I hoped he liked my dress. It was my moms. Luckily it had been put into storage before the fire. It’s the only thing I had left besides the house. With our two witnesses standing behind me(clients of mine!), I began my walk down the aisle. What couldn’t have been 20ft seemed almost like a thousand miles! The closer I got the farther away my fears went. I forgot about everyone else in the room. Aaron was the only one I could see. As the wedding march played on I continued walking towards the love of my life. “Are you ready babe?” Aaron asked. “Of course, I couldn’t possibly be more ready to be yours forever!” I replied. So sweet of him to even ASK! I suppose that’s just the kind of man he is. Sweet and sensitive! “With this ring I thee wed…” I slipped the ring onto Aarons finger. Our rings had been sent to us from Aarons parents. They were beautiful antiques, they had actually been Aarons grandparents rings. They were a sort of gift as well seeing as his parents felt too old to make the trip from Sunset Valley to see the wedding.
As I listened to the vows Aaron wrote for me I couldn’t help but smile. Then he took my hand in his and repeated “With this ring I thee wed..” This was it! We were finally going to be husband and wife! “I now pronounce you husband and wife!” The preacher roared. As I stared lovingly into my new husbands eyes I couldn’t help but melt. My past heartaches seem to dissapear, even if only for the moment. All I could think of was us, together, forever! We posed for several pictures, then it was on to the reception where we ate cake and danced the night away! Although it was Sunday and we both had to work the next day so we told everyone at about 9pm it was time for us to leave! We wanted to make sure there was plenty of time to celebrate on our own *wink*. Once back at the house we went to bed and held each other. I never knew how good another humans touch could make me feel. No matter what I knew I never wanted to be apart from him. And although we wanted children we had agreed to wait a while so that we could provide them with the best life possible. “I love you, Mrs. Groves!” Aaron said in a sexy low voice. “Ah Mr. Groves I do believe I love you as well!” I replied jokingly. We boths smiled at each other, the smiles of two young fools in love. This last year was the best of my life, and I knew as long as this man was in it, things could only get better!
